Title: RTR GWR 43xx 2-6-0
Post by: unklian on Mar 23 2016 22:02

Seen in Garden Rail magazine an outfit called Classics of Cleethorpes are offering an RTR mogul for 2k. Anyone know any more ?  I have enquired about more pictures by e-mail, so if I get any I will try and post them.
Cheers  Ian

Hello Ian (et al)

I do know who the builder is, but it is not my place to 'name names', suffice to say that he is fairly well know within G1 & G0 circles & is branching up into G3 (at the request of Classic) & has some work in progress items going on for various members of this forum.

One thing I can state categorically is that he uses the finest of Nickel silver sheet, in the builds - I know, I supply it....!!!!  ;-) (Sorry, blatant plug.....).

Barry (aka Metalsmith)

Hi

I think the builder might be Mike Danby of Leeds but that's a guess. Anyway, here's a pic - will be in next G3 Society Newsletter
