A kit which is described as part-built and incomplete but looks to be pretty much all there!
If you want it, you will have to bid more than 150GBP.....sum I have bid on basis I could use the motor and wheels, since I have no interest in the loco.
John.
I shall watch this avidly now!! Good Luck!
(and no I won't bid the price up) :-)

Still only 155GBP and 10+ hours to go.
A bargain at double that price even if a few bits are missing/damaged........if you happen to want an O2 class.
I have no plans to increase my bid of 150 since I was only interested in the wheels and motor and they cost not much more than that as individual items.
John.
Went for 424GBP which is still a substantial saving on list price.
I wonder if the seller was surprised.....it was originally listed at 99p!
John.
What do people type in to see these items for sale on ebay. I type in G3/2 1/2" but without success.
Jon
i always find items by typing live steam locomotive, often even electric is under this , hardly ever is anything listed as gauge 3, sometimes the description may say 64mm ,possibly 2.5". when you type live steam locomotive, it offers two choices, steam toys, or model railways, so you can check either out. to save trawling, there are boxes on the left to tick and there is a locomotives option, which usually reduces 445 items to around 90 items to view. ash
A lot of it is luck Jon, which is why we post here to tell people about it.

Don't forget to use "brand" names, such as Garden Railway Specialists, Kingscale, Brandbright, etc. which give fewer irrelevant results.
Problem with searching "Gauge 3" is that everything tagged "gauge" and "3" comes up .... e.g. Hornby Dublo 3-rail, 3 x 00 gauge widgets, etc.
