Note ballrace-suspended ΒΌ" steel axles and chunky steel wheel. If fancy spoked wheels could be found, I am certain that Phil would be happy to fit them.
It does seem to have quite a lot of potential.
But, the wheels are going to be too small for a Diesel or electric loco, they should be 3'7" or 3'9". To ensure a good market the B0 power bogie should have a common axle spacing.
If the motor is MFA RE380 then at 25W will have a respectable amount of torque for traction. There will need to be some form cover for the worm drive to prevent ingested grass etc!
I like it - well done.

Hello Ralph and thanks for your comments.
That's useful what you say about wheel size. The 40mm diameter was what I requested from Phil. I quoted to him a common size in case he already had something ready off the shelf.
I had found info on the net that the standard BR wagon wheel was very roughly somewhere between 2'8" and 3'3" so you may as well say 36" which divided by 22 gives 1.63" or 41.4mm. The chassis might be used as a powered bogie but Phil would certainly be happy to fit any wheel size that the buyer requested, each chassis being made to order.
Also interesting what you say about the 380 motor and glad you support it being used. That worm gear gives plenty of torque and I can't really ever see it stalling, only really a question of keeping traction.
When I first picked up the chassis, I was impressed how heavy it was - all that 2mm steel. And as you will see in my latest reply to IanT on the main thread, adding 2mm top and end plates will further aid traction, just right for a shunter of course.
So thanks again for your interest and stay safe.
Regards,
Clive
