Title: A touch of Autumn colour!
Post by: John Candy on Sep 28 2022 16:46
On what may be the last day of sunshine for a while, I took the camera to the trackside.

Autotrailer No.131 scoots across the viaduct, high above Monkton Vale, propelled by No.4817 (and bound for Wrexham, if the destination board is to be believed).

No.131 is in the late 1929 livery, having a single black/gold waist band and bearing the twin shield GWR crest.
To diagram A10, it was rebuilt from a distressed (for want of a better description) GRS kit. with corrections and extra detailing (using John Lewis's "Great Western AutoTrailers - Part One" as reference).
No.4817 was built from a GRS kit, with detailing modifications to portray a loco  from the first Lot, in as-built condition.
