This was not on my 2025 agenda but I wanted a PBV for an LMS parcels train and had intended to produce the LMS 50ft D1715 "all steel" van.
However, having produced panelled GWR stock, I wanted something with a bit more"character" than D1715, so plumped for the LNWR D377 50ft van which is a gangwayed type with an arc roof.
I am modelling it in late LMS condition, having the gas lighting replaced by electric and finished in plain crimson livery.
Produced in 1902, the last examples were scrapped in the early BR period.

The appropriate LNWR 8ft bogies will shortly be added to the "Monobloc" range and the underframe package will follow.
P.S. The test prints have been examined by and have the seal of approval of our resident LNWR expert!
P.P.S. The LMS standard 50ft PBV will come later (maybe the LMS D1778 panelled version instead of the D1715 "all steel" type).

Currently working on the LNWR D216 50ft brake 1st/3rd composite which I hope will be ready for release early next week.
I have developed my OpenSCAD library of modules for various coach types/components which enables me to import the appropriate STL files into the SCAD files for a current project and thus substantially reduce the programming times.

Doddy, somebody has researched the Oerlikon stock and prints used to be available from Shapeways, though what a Gauge 3 version would cost I shudder to think. The point is that the design and print files already exist, somewhere.

Shapeways went bust middle of last year and the "market place" went with it and the IP fpr the products was lost.
Shapeways Inc. has since been resurrected as a manufacturing only organisation but recently www.thangs.com has been introduced to provide a platform for the traders who lost their shop window/marketing platform.
I just took a look but suspect the availability of products has shrunk quite a bit as traders struggle to get up and running again.

From what I see online in the 3D forums, many creators whom own the IP do not intend to make any form of return as they mostly have had to find new homes and inadvertently found terms and conditions are better with much lower production costs and better quality printed items. (read higher resolution and smoother finish) Incidentally - some of the prime reasons sales went off a cliff before they went bust. Which is also a stated reason not to go back as a buyer either.
I have a few HO suppliers who aren't planning to return at all under current circumstances, but I am willing to bet many creators and buyers will choose to return out of loyalty and possibly selecting products that never made a transition to a new home.
Let us hope that the new investors have a better business plan than the old one.
I intend on doing some GER coaches in future. I still need to acquire some more drawings from the NRM (second batch).

This is a 50ft arc roof corridor coach in a style to match the previous D377 passenger luggage full brake.
