Title: turning
Post by: trammedic on Jul 26 2010 18:39
Hello Gents,

Does anyone have a small lathe with the capability to turn down two 1/4"  wagon axles to 3/16"? I'm happy to pay any expenses etc.

Many thanks,
Regards,
Tony.

Sure Tony, shouldn't take too long.

I'll be in touch.

Many thanks Ian.

To get not just a reply but an offer to do the job within a couple of hours of placing the request is amazing! What a splendid Society this is. I wish I had joined years ago, but I had not learned that G3 is the best scale until Mark P put me straight last year!

The axles and gears are in the post today - no hurry to get them back to me.

Kind regards,
Tony.
