"A mainly-complete 2 1/2 inch gauge model of a Drummond 700 class 0-6-0 steam locomotive, originally built for the London South Western Railway in the late nineteenth century. Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's valve gear with pole reverser in cab. A luubricator is fitted under the front buffer. The engine pushes along freely, and runs sweetly on air. Silver-soldered coal-fired copper boiler with superheater, clack valves, feed axle pump mounted beneath cab floor with auxiliary hand pump in tender. The backhead is fitted with a steam regulator, steam pressure gauge, and a sight water gauge. There is a blower valve on the right hand side running board. The boiler needs checking as very slight weeping has been noticed at the front tube plate and firebox tube plate. A 6 wheel tender completes the locomotive. It is fitted with a working auxiliary hand pump. The tender rolls along freely. To my knowledge, the engine is unsteamed."
Note comment about "weeping" but at the price still sounds interesting - the Seller is "near Guildford".
