Above item seems to be attracting a lot of bids (it is cheap which may be reason) but I suppose it may be for the parts rather than the odd looking, incomplete loco.
Fit for scrap, look at the corrosion on the boiler. Thought it might be a rescaled Tich but that would be an insult to the late LBSC bless him. So why so many bids mystifies me.

Our Chairman informs me that this is probably a design known as "Sugar" by Rex Tingley, but unusual in having 'shuttle' pistons.
What a lot I still have to learn!

When I took a second look, it is described as "gauge III 1:16 scale" ....... but on 2.5 inch gauge track.
Sounds like a "mish-mash" and certainly a bit of a wreck!
