For sale by auction on 30th November:

A 2 1/2" Gauge coal fired live steam Brass Kit Built 'Duchess' Class 8P 4-6-2 with Bassett Lowke castings - sprung Drivers and Tender, twin axle driven pump, mechanical lubrication, 2 blower valves and steam and water Gauges. The Boiler is untested but there is no evidance of leaks and an internal inspection suggests that it is in Good condition. The main locomotive body and Tender are unpainted and the Model has yet to be named. Overall an Excellent model built to a professional standard. The Lot includes a length of track on a Mahogany plinth for display.

Not sure about the "Kit built".  Not a kit as we know it today, but maybe a set of B-L castings.  Did B-L do a Duchess in Gauge 3?
