Not sure how authentic/realistic this is ....... don't have my K&ESR book to hand to check but, like most of Col. Stephens lines, they did dabble in early raicars......but if bought for anywhere around the starting price of 50GBP, it would make a low cost railcar (needs motorising).

P.S. It IS a very good likeness to the photo in the "Colonel Stephens' Railmotors" book .... built 1905 as K&ESR No.16...  having been out of use since around 1916, it was eventually scrapped in the 1940's.

Matches several photos of the real thing.
This seller had half a dozen or so railcars of that vintage on his eBay account - all Gauge 3.

The Col. Stephens light railways would make excellent subjects for a garden or exhibition line.....short trains, railcars, limited trackwork, few (if any) signals, corrugated "tin" small structures.

Worsley Works do the Ford (Model T based) and Shefflex two-car back-to-back sets in smaller scales (as well as loco-hauled coaches from several Stephens' lines) and say they will upscale any of their kits to "garden scales" and cost is just the area of brass used.

If anyone were to model the WC&P there is also the option of ex-LBSCR "Terriers" (from GRS kits) for Nos. 5 & 6.

Looks very similar to a model that the late Dave Lowe made and ran on Blackgang
