Yes, I am holding up the project!  First tender frame assembled.  Brakes offered up.  Wooden bufferbeam in hand, so attention turning to the tender tank next.

With hindsight the chassis may be a tad heavy and more suited to passenger hauling(!), but at least its strong enough.

I'm not as quick as Mike, nor as neat, but the tender is making progress.

Santa arrived early this year in the guise of Mike Williams who sent me my tender for the Jubilee he had made using some of his excellent castings, I added a few details and painted it to match the loco.
The Jubilee project is now complete, it has been an interesting exercise in calibration as Mike W is very knowledgeable on all aspects of LNWR and provided the works drawings and castings from his extensive range, we used laser cut parts for the chassis on both loco and tender, and I cut most of the parts on a CNC mill.
It has been a long haul to build two engines but I am very pleased with the result.
