Stroudley coaches

Hi,

As mentioned in the winter 2023 newsletter I have been designing Stroudley 4 wheel coaches, these are now ready to be built to order, the original schedule was wildly optimistic.

The bodies will be sls printed in one piece, ie 2 sides & 2 ends forming a hollow box which fits over the floor eliminating glued joints and alignment problems, roofs will be detachable held in place by magnets.
Finish will be grey primer and black underframes.
Slaters have kindly produced the correct 9 spoke wheels for the brake 3rd.
Door handles & handrails are also sls printed, left loose to aid printing, sls handrails can be bent but will spring back, very difficult to break.

Hello all,

A full page ad for the range available will be in the March Newsletter but here are pics of a full 2nd which is currently available at a reduced price of £400 incl of p&p and Walsall couplings.

This is a pre production test build to check fits, etc.

The door handles and grab rails are sls printed and left loose for fitting into the pre drilled holes after painting, they could be used as masters for brass castings if desired, but that will be up to a purchaser.
