As you may have seen elsewhere i'm now the proud owner of a GRS 'B set' coach, less Bogies.

Now i'm not knocking GRS but i'm not willing to pay what they are asking for a set of the correct bogies ( nice that they are). Now I have a set of Walsaw Engineering cast white metal LNWR Bogie frames and am thinking of using these. Plan would be to use a brass bolster and maybe mod them a bit ( add the step detail as per the GWR ones). I know they will still not be correct, but they would be good enough.
Im also thinking of using the G3 sideframes and add castings from GRS and various bit of brass. Just wondering what you guys so for bogies? Also do you find rigid Bogies ok?

Ive had a goo look on google, but images of the Bogies on these coaches are hard to find.

Now all im hoping is said cariage will clean up ok, also has anyone built their own interior for these?

thanks

Simon.
