There is a 7-plank P.O. wagon on e-bay, unfinished.  This is the first time I've seen a nice quality item of Gauge 3 rolling stock on e-bay.

The chap is presumably a dealer as he bought it from e-bay last month for just £29, but it must be worth more than that?  Got to be worth £70 for the bits, surely!  The chap he bought it from also doesn't seem to have been the builder, so its doing the rounds.

Looks a bit rough to me

I think that's being very kind - but the bits would be useful !

When I am bored I frequent eBay -mostly for bits!!! I have often wondered exactly who are the bidders on any item. I nearly "won" a picture of an OBB 1802 series locomotive and lost it in the last 2 seconds a week ago. I have the same set of plans from Chris Barron for this wagon and I have yet to build one from it -so to me it is interesting to see what it looks like in the "Wood" so to speak! So I confess that I might actually bid on this item just to see how it looks when you put it all together.
