I`m completing a tram and can`t find roof details Every one I`ve seen leaves off the condensing? details Can anyone suggest pics or drawings I can use for details  Many thanks Dave

Dave,

I will send you a sketch/photo by personal message.

The Y6 locos had the condensing pipe at 90 degrees to sides (the GRS models have this incorrectly shown as a diagonal pipe but that was the arrangement on the J70 0-6-0).

John.

Blink & you will miss it. My Y6 whizzing around my track and over my king truss girder bridge with the W&U bogie tram coach plus the GE No 9 luggage van plus a Fruit traffic office van. Try counting the loco's wheels & assess the location of the condensing pipe. At that distance & speed just pretend it's a J70. I don't think it really matters.

Dave, all looked very good, but why isn't possible to just run it at a more realistic speed. My missus (488) asked me to build fewer batteries into her 8750 Pannier in order to avoid accidental overspeeding.

Ian,
Accidental overspeeding? This was intentional. My Iphone was on 5% charge and Anne was shouting me that the pots needed washing. That tram had an urgent mission. To complete the last lap before everything went pear shaped. SWMBO rules!

Dave, just read out youf reply to 'She who must be obeyed'.......who commented 'and the poor little wife gets the blame! Us blokes can't win.

Will you be at the AGM, if so, see you there.

Planning to be there Ian, have a pass out from SWMBO who will be accompanying me.

Thought you might like to see how I built my Y6, had to modify the pipe to shorten it to make it fit.
See attachment for roof detail.

Hope this helps
