This picture is from the works of railway artist Peter Barnfield and his mind is more warped than mine.
A water powered turntable no less.

Go on John Candy i dare you to build one like this for your garden railway

Well, at least there is plenty of room for using 7 pole motors and the gear ratios won't effect the driving wheels.  ;D

That's providing one can settle on the gear ratio!  ;)

p.s. We when behind a 'Quality Southern' engine on Saturday . . . it failed at Reading!
