The Railway Goods Station a Guide to its Control and Operation. Fred. W. West Published 1912

Looks to be a very interesting, in depth, read regarding goods operations pre-Great War.
Lots of photos showing SE&CR wagons with various loads (to illustrate proper loading) including some carrying a pantechnicon owned by Harrods removals service and other horse-drawn road vehicles. Useful for recreating that "period feel" to your model goods yard.

My fellow Members, ask not what your Society can do for you, ask what you can do for your Society.
