Monobloc kit for the Great Central 10ft 6ins Bogie.

The bogie fitted under the GCR carriages built from around 1910 was a massive 4-wheeler and involved a complex bolster arrangement of springs and swing links, which filled the expansive wheelbase. These bogies ran under the Parker 60ft gangwayed and non-gangwayed stock, as well as the famous "Barnum" excursion stock.

The bolster component is printed from a separate file to be attached to the inside of the main side frame and care needs to be taken as internal clearances are tight and, if springing is to be fitted as described for other monobloc kits, the fulcrum screw head must not obstruct the bolster component.

Photos illustrate assembly.
