LBSC 'BAT'

Is it "0" Gauge?  says "THE INSIDE OF THE WHEELS MEASURE 1" "  But I didn't know LBSC designed "0" Gauge.

Sounds like a lot of money to me!

It looks as if it SHOULD be "0" gauge -but I would expect a BTW of 27.5mm for a model from that era. Maybe he wasn't wearing his reading glasses when did the BTW measurement???

I also have to agree that the seller may live in hopes of selling it....

Yes, indeed he did, including:
BAT, based on the SR Schools class
OWL - 0-6-0 a bit like a 4F
Sir Morris de Cowley - based on LMS pacific
Josie - based on NYC Hudson
Mollyette - 0-6-0T based on the Jinty
Small Bass - 0-4-0T (I think)

I have had two sets of castings for BAT on the shelf for a good many years.......

Stupidly optimistic price on the fleebay example!

Had a look in sellers other items and the phrase ' would be up market rag and bone man ' comes to mind on a good day .
