Wanted - I sold a rake of gauge 3 LMS period III coaches when I stopped modelling due to an overseas tour, that was around 1997. As far as I remember they were purchased by a Society member but I have know idea who that was.
The coach bodies were made from 20 gauge galvanised steel sheet with the ends welded in. They had wood floors and the Perspex window strips were secured by bolts through the coach sides, the heads being soldered in and smoothed off. At the time they had plastic underframe trusses and no bogies but they were probably finished years ago.
If anyone knows the whereabouts of any of these coaches I would really like to have them back and I am prepared to pay a fair price for them.
