Title: Chalfont Gauge '3' shunting layout at the 2017 Reading ALSRM show
Post by: blagdon on May 15 2017 22:23
Ev'ning All, I have recently uploaded a video of Roger S's 'Chalfont' layout in operation a Reading.  Unfortunately, time ran out to film the other Gauge '3' layouts (something to do with an AGM!).  Also, as others have commented to me, the lighting left a lot to be desired.

Finally, we have changed our YouTube Channel name to 'TeamPIRATE Productions'.

Very nice Ian.  Also on Youtube is some footage by Trevor taken only last Saturday of his Coronation and train which ran supremely well with steam to spare - he's on the ball that man!

it is a very nice layout, and not just shunting, there's a passgenger service as well. The cassettes in the fiddle yard worked very well
I agree about the lighting, and a couple of the other layouts close by were very noisy.
Did anyone notice how familiar the figures on the platform looked, about 15 seconds into the film? Roger and Keith and (sorry forgotten his name) got themselves scanned and printed at Alexandra palace  by Modelu.
