Title: GRS peckett.
Post by: hornbeam on Mar 31 2019 13:26
Having been lucky enough to recently purchase a GRS peckett tank at a good price I thought I'd share a few pictures of it after I did a complete rebuild. Nowhere near a scale model of the prototype but I'm rather pleased with it.

Simon.

I should add it was lightly raining at the time so the painting isn't bad it's rain drops and the wonky handbrake standard has been fixed too.

Nice job, looks the part .... except it should be filthy!
Danygraig (Swansea) locos excelled in levels of "grimyness".

Regards,
John.

Thank you for the kind words. Interesting you mention that John. I've started weathering wagons and have not yet got the confidence to weather a locomotive but hopefully when I have built my skills up more with wagons I will take the plunge.
