Title: Tobias
Post by: cabbage on Mar 21 2022 14:50
No, I have not disappeared - but I have been busy. The small starter loco which I have dubbed "Tobias" is about 24 hours worth of printing from completion. This is based on the Hunslet DY-1 of which three were made.

It is designed as a simple glue together flat pack. It can be printed in less than 1Kg of PLA.

It is a tram engine and as a Hinslet ypu
may stick on whatever frippery you like and it will still look "right". The 00 madel has an external oil bath air filter. But with a Gardner engine the cyclone oil bath is more "perfect", it just looks like a dead sausage along the hood roof...

The model is (l)240 x (w)115 mm x (h)130mm.
