Title: Two Little Ducks
Post by: cabbage on Jun 21 2022 08:09
Well the last project is complete and most of the decals stuck to it. Time to start plotting the next one!

This will be a Class 22 aka "Baby Warship". If you are going to print a loco then you need lots of repeatable parts to aid production. The class 22 is nearly symmetrical so using the command mirror() saves a lot of work!!!

A slightly externally modified "The wonder engine" bogie will provide the power. The loco is slightly rounded on all faces so this will mean printing at very small layer heights.

Fortunately the tronxy does not radiate feelings of "boredom" as some of these printes are going to be in the 10 to 12hour range.

Regards

Ralph

Well after the heatwave which ruined quite a few prints as the bed had to be 30° for adhesion...

On the cooker in the kitchen is the main body of the loco.
