Title: Bassett lowke 2.5 inch gauge flying scotsman.

Description: A really beautiful bassett lowke 2 1/2 inch gauge live steam flying scotsman on a display plinth.

This model is absolutely stunning and would surely be the ultimate desk display..

It has been run on compressed air but if it iss to be used in steam it would need final setting up eg valve timing etc and generally checking over. It is fitted out for running with all boiler fittingss in place..

It has no boiler certificate, i am not ssure if it would be up to modern standards as it was originally built back in the 1950s..

It does not look like a good deal to me, just with a cursory glance at the pictures the steam pipe covers and the dome are missing.  £3000 is a lot of money for something that might never achieve a boiler certificate and be capable of running.
