Growing a "Monster"

"Monster" was the telegrahic code for the GWR 50ft CCT of which there were outside-framed and (later) inside-framed versions.

I have chosen the diagram P16, of which three were built, and were the only Lot built with outside frames.

These vehicles, having end doors, were designed to convey large  theatrical scenery, circus loads and associated wheeled vehicles.

The first Lot, to P16, was built in 1911 but the final Lot (to diagram P23) was built by BR in the 1950's!

Construction follows the method described for the Siphons, with 3D printed overlay on a laser-cut plywood inner structure.
