GRS Kits for Gresley Non-Vestibuled Stock

I have received from Michael Adamson photographs and details of the Gresley 51ft 1.5ins carriage modules and kits which are almost ready for despatch.

These kits are a combination of resin side and end mouldings with plastic floor and roof components which I am told build into a very rigid carriage.
Detailing includes both cast and etched brass components (buffers, handles, battery boxes., etc) together with laser cut steel bogies with cast overlays.

While the main concept is one of modular design, where the builder "cherry picks" the parts required to produce a coach to any particular diagram, there are to be two versions offered as complete kits, one being an "all third" the other a "lavatory composite".

There is currently a slight delay in the availability of sufficient quantities of the 8ft 6in Gresley bogies but it is hoped they may be received from the suppliers in time for the Warley show.

If your interest is in the LNER or BR(E) then these are a "must have" and GRS have invested substantially in these kits and need to achieve good sales in order to be encouraged to develop further kits.
