Tool directory for G3 members?

An idea for discussion, and which might help to promote more G3 local groups being set up -

I have a set of bending rolls - they're not the sort of thing one needs everyday, and most people would never consider buying their own. So I'd be quite happy if any G3 member in my locality wanted something rolled (boiler, roof, tank for a wagon) to come and use them for an hour or 2 (have gas torch too if plate needs annealing during the process).

Similarly, if someone near me has a guillotine that I could spend an hour doing platework on, I would really appreciate that.

I wouldn't expect this to extend to machine tools (Lathes, mills, etc).

Details could be posted in the G3 members only section on the website.

An excellent suggestion.
I am certainly willing to add a directory to the Members Only section of www.gauge3.co.uk
It would be a valuable additional 'benefit' for existing Members and an incentive for potential new members to join the Society.

Great idea, I have a guillotine, folder, rolls etc, really suitable for brass or N/S, but if they or I can help any other members please ask.
