This topic is for questions relating to the downloads for carriages and wagons.

I have not written instructions for each vehicle but in most cases it will be fairly easy to identify parts and where they fit.
Some are more complex than others (e.g. the Southern bogie Luggage Van has some fiddly bits), so post any queries here.

If I modify or add any files relating to an existing project, I will post a notice with a download link.

Enjoy building your new carriages and wagons!

John.

Hi John,

For the GNR 8ft fox bogie, do we use the 8ft bogie blocks from the LSWR fox bogies?

I also need to source some top hat bearings from slaters but not sure on size or part number yet.

I'm doing one of your D113 full brakes but in the condition of when it had been converted to a cinema car.

Hi Anthony,
Yes, the same block fits both Fox bogies (hadn't realised it was missing from the GNR zip file)
Slater's part No. 8920 "Loco Frame Bushes for 1/4inch axles" ... listed for Gauge1.
Look forward to seeing the Cinema Coach...are you building a set for "The Flying Scotsman"?!
Regards,
John.

Thank you.

Not specifically John, just I have a D113 for the same build in the form of an O gauge Sparmac kit and so with that un-started, took the opportunity to do it in G3 instead.

I have a friend at my model club who makes his own transfers and he's having a go at the "pathe cinema car" transfers for the destination boards for me.

Kind regards
