This looks to be a well advanced engine and a cut above most of the wrecks seen on e-bay.  A good start for somebody maybe?

Also seems to have a professionally made boiler (with a makers certificate) Mike which is always a bonus. I don't know what a boiler costs these days but they are not cheap.

However, for those of you who prefer something more "challenging" - there is also this beauty available "in new condition" (apparently) and for considerably less money.

As the Seller thoughtfully suggests though, access to a sandblaster might be an advantage...

;)

It ended with no bids, which was a surprise to me.  Its been relisted if anyone fancies having a go.

Well, five hours to go as I write this and again there are no bids.  I am really surprised comparing this to the usual rubbish sold on e-bay.

I'm also very surprised that it hasn't sold. It would cost more than the starting price for the boiler alone!

We rarely hear what happens to engines listed on e-bay, but I am pleased to say this has been bought by an enthusiastic and capable G3S and N2.5GA member, so may well be completed.
