14th November, Frank, Scott & Lacy.

Lot 160 is a Kingscale Coronation.  Estimate £3,500 - £4,000

According to the auctioneers' website this sold for £3200.  That sounds cheap, but add commission of 17.5% and VAT on the commission (which I calculate to total £3872) and I guess its OK, but not as cheap as first appeared.

And if my calculations are correct (always questionable) the poor seller only received £2659.50.  Must be a lesson to be learned there somewhere.
