We've come to expect some meaningless words from general auctioneers, Christies for example often used to say "fitted with hand and lamp irons", but I expect better than this from Vectis: "well engineered wheel, cylinder rods and motion".  So maybe the wheels are well engineered because they are round?  and what might the cylinder rods be?

But I shouldn't snigger - interesting models and pity we don't know who made them.  Its always nice to know some history.

And what about "site glass"? Isn't that what builders drink their ale from? And what exactly is a "Live Steam burner to the underside"?
There are some interesting models there, and the expected sale prices I suspect are set deliberately low, or very low, to stimulate interest.
