Bamford auctioneers, Derby.  25th November.  Lot 3162

"A scratch built live steam 2.5in gauge model locomotive, 0-6-2, and eight wheel tender, LNER green livery, 106m long including tender"

Well, auctioneers' descriptions have sunk to a new low.  BUT, it actually looks quite nicely detailed and with an estimate of £150 - £200 surely worth a look?

Well I did look Mike - but I think the kindest thing I could say is that it's probably seen better days...

Hi all,

Does anyone know what the loco and tender went for?

The tender looked near enough and with some time and effort I'm sure you get get something out of the engine side. I wouldn't give up on it.
