The next release in the 3d-Print-4-Yourself range will be the SR bogie Luggage Van.
My test build of the Southern bogie luggage van is almost complete (just a few details to be added) and I shall soon be releasing releasing the STL files for personal use as part of my "3D Print 4 Yourself" range.

These Maunsell -designed bogie Luggage Vans were built 1930/31 and lasted until the early 1960's. They were also used for parcels, newspaper and general traffic. One was used in the funeral train of Winston Churchill (1965) to convey the coffin and that carriage has been preserved. There were three different diagrams, with different combinations of body length and bogie centre spacing. My model is based on diagram 3100 with a body length of 51ft 3ins and bogies at 36ft 3ins centres (the shorter body on the longer wheelbase). The variations resulted from the re-purposing of redundant LSWR underframes and bogies.

Each side prints in 7 parts (3 identical double doors; 2 identical inner sections; one each LH and RH outer sections) and is designed to be glued onto an inner plywood backing (mine I laser cut and those files will also be supplied).
In addition to the sides, there are detailed solebars, end, gangway connectors, truss rod queen posts, gusset plates, brake wheels, dynamo, battery boxes, brake linkage, buffer guides and the correct (ex-LSWR)  Fox 8ft bogie frames. The unusual roof shape can also be 3D printed and the files are included.

Watch for further announcements.

UPDATE: STL files now available to download
