I was indeed. Will be a few months away. Was planning on just using cliff Baker track, but will now be a mix. just need to find a way of joining the different rail sections together.

I used a Peco adapter fishplate designed for joining their Code 250 G-45 rail to LGB rail to make the connection between Cliff Barker and GRS rail. You may need to put packing under the CB sleepers on the lead up to the joint: I used roofing felt. Passing stock does not jolt when running through.

I used a cliff barker rail joiner with the web cut off the bottom of the grs rail. Its tight and doesnt drop, some roofing felt helps but give a nice lead in for at least a metre.
