Adams G6, this is the last of the available kits.

The model is a fully assembled G6 kit, it has a quality Slaters motor/gearbox,14v battery pack, detailed cab and backhead, and requires R/C kit to complete.

P1040969B.JPG

The model is being offered with a FREE aluminium carrying case with internal track specifically designed by a society member for G3 locos. The case has a removeable end plate allowing the model to roll from the case onto running track thus minimal handling.

The model is priced at £1400.00 with the free case, please PM me if interested.

Live Steam / piston valve live steam
Last post by bambuko - Sep 29 2025 15:53
I have drawings for two 2 1/2" gauge locos with piston valve cylinders.
Martin Evans's Black Five in ME 1984
and
Chris Barron's 9F
Neither appears to have either drain cocks or relief valves?
Is this usual practice in G3? or am I missing something, please?
Are there any other published designs for piston valve cylinders in G3?

At an advanced stage of production is a kit for the GWR "Siphon C" from New Land 3D models.

As with the "Siphon F" (of which there are two kits still available to order from the first batch) the latest kit will be produced from the STL files which I developed to produce my own model, seen in the photos above.

Enquiries / reservations for both the "Siphon C" and "Siphon F" should be addressed to Ant Terranova or email : newland3d@outlook.com

There are many more passenger carriages and NPCS vehicle kits in the pipeline, so please support the tremendous effort being put into this venture to ensure the availability of a diverse range of rolling stock kits for both current and future Gauge 3 enthusiasts.

Help Required / Re: G3 screw couplings
Last post by Dave796 - Sep 04 2025 11:12
A bit late, sorry, I too found Slater's couplings fiddly to assemble to say the least, but their biggest drawback to me was that even when screwed up as far as possible there was still a gap of 3-4mm between the buffers of adjacent vehicles, totally un-prototypical.

Walsall are much better in that respect.

You might do better asking G1MRA because the work is similar but there are more poeple out there doing it.  But I'd be interested to know what it is!
