My Eagle pulling its first train.  The run went well but I think the gas tank needs its own water bath as it started to ice up after a few minutes running.  I may also adjust the safety valves to blow off at about 40psi rather than 80 as the regulator is a bit "all or nothing" at higher pressures and the loco pulls well even at 10psi :)

Very nice Dave and looks good in green  ( the other one I know of is blue!)    :-)

Did you build the engine yourself?

Regards,

Ian
Nothing's ever Easy - At least the first time around.

Doesn't look "all or nothing" to me Dave.  Very sedate and suitable for a goods train.  Very nice.

Thanks Ian, No I didn't build it myself, I got it from Station Road Steam in basically run-able condition but the fitted gas burner was pretty poor so I fitted a new one.  I also fitted a new smaller lubricator so the front bogie would swing enough to go round my curves :)

Thanks Mike.  In the video its only running at about 10psi.  At 80psi it takes off like a rocket.  Probably needs another 30 wagons at that pressure!! :)
