I understand that somebody was demonstrating building track at a show in Bakewell this summer.  The only person I know who demonstrates Gauge 3 track is Robin Saxton, and apparently it wasn't him.  Any ideas who it was please?  Robin seems to have a very full order book and it would be nice to see somebody else flying the flag for our scale.

Thanks,

Mike

Mike,

I'm aware of 2 shows in Bakewell during the summer.
Gauge 1 North in July - I recall someone was demonstrating track building in G1, but I don't recall it being a commercial builder. Nothing mentioned in the trader list either - http://www.gauge1north.org.uk/Traders-Attending.php.
Maybe Richard T, John T, Ian H or one of the other G3 members present can add to this.

Peak Model Railway Exbn is in June - I didnt attend, but similarly don't see a track builder mentioned in their trader list.

I think it was Peter Wood of G1MRA at G1 North. He does it at several shows where G1MRA has a presence, e.g. Harrogate ME Show in May.

Thanks very much John and Ian.
