Looks like I a may be the first to record my thanks to the committee and helpers on another superb exhibition and AGM on Saturday.  It was great to see several new traders with some truly magnificent products.  It really was a great day enjoyed by all (including a large number of ladies) and a great advert for the scale.

As always, I am amazed by some of the models members bring to display.  How one can pick a winner from large live steam locos, small but beautifully formed wagons, lineside equipment etc, I don't know, but the two winners were well deserved - Cliff Daniels' Span Can and Paul Barker's magnificent "cast iron" girder bridge (I REALLY want one!)

Thanks again chaps.

Anne and I agree Mike. Perhaps one person for special mention should be Robin Saxton, who along with his team provided us with yet another very satisfying buffet.

How many others kicked themselves on the jorney home they did not purchase or enquire after bits or materials on sale? Mine was if MetalSmith had any channel larger than the 10mm x 4mm I purchased for wagon solebars, should have asked if they something for 12'' deep solebars.

Meanwhile six points to get on with before the summer (Society rail and chairs on oak sleepers).

May I just say how friendly everone was. Its so nice to now be part of the group. Everyone answered any questions I had no matter how daft they were ( many thanks allwright!) and I found Cliff Barker to be most helpfull.

My money will now be taken up buying track but i've got a chassis i'm going to use on a tank wagon using an LGB tanker- watch this space.

Hi Hornbeam

Not a problem, happy to advise regarding the painting and lining of the unit as well as the conversion of the Bachmann Thomas coaches. Incidentally are you aware that there is now the 6 wheel cholestery coach now available as well(sold as Emilys Coaches).

All the best

Just a belated thank you to everyone involved in organising the AGM. Brilliant job. We have just got back home having had a great weekend . Our son and grandson live only 6 miles from Biggleswade, making the long trip from West Wales very worthwhile.
Thanks again,

Roger.

A thank you from me to all involved with the AGM. The effort and planning resulted in a very interesting meeting, most enjoyable and certainly inspirational.
Superb show items and high quality offerings from traders suggest that G3 really is on an upward path- and surely a record attendance?
